This ink is made by one of the china renowned ink maker, "Hu Kai Wen", to ensure the ink quality, they only used the highest grade of tung oil that came from altitude 600m and above, along with turpentine and various high quality herbs as the main ingredient of the ink ( No additional chemical added )**.

They maintain the traditional Ink making procedure, utilized latest technology to achieve highest standard of ink at all times.

When used for writing calligraphy, especially on red rice paper, this ink proved to be dark and shiny. Ideal to use on painting areas that requires extremely dark and shiny effect, such as animal eyes or flower core.
